Job title: Purchasing Assistant
Reports to: Purchasing and Inventory Manager
Department: Purchasing
Job Type: Full-time
Summary: Responsible for assisting the Purchasing and Inventory Manager with day-to- day tasks. The ideal candidate is extremely organized and detail orientated.

Duties & responsibilities (other duties may be assigned as needed):

  • Receive direction from Purchasing and Inventory Manager to assist with daily activities.
  • Issue, track and close purchase orders using Misys.
  • Issue and close manufacturing orders using Misys.
  • Update production schedules as requested.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding deliveries and discrepancies.
  • Assist with inventory tracking and adjustments.
  • Run and track daily out-of- stock reports.
  • Identify and report any issues relating to purchasing and receiving to the Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Description
Job title: Packaging Line Operator
Reports to: Packaging Manager
Department: Packaging
Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time & Temporary

Summary: Responsible for efficient machine operation and production of the company’s products within prescribed specifications.

Our company is seeking full-time Packaging Line Operators to work in our Ft. Lauderdale headquarters. Successful candidates will have a strong packaging and line operating background, and be highly motivated and detail oriented.

Technical & functional responsibilities (other duties may be assigned as needed):

  • Help set up production machines daily according to established procedures & schedules.
  • Operate production machines to produce parts in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
  • Inspect produced parts for faultiness and report flaws immediately to management.
  • Detect and report machine malfunctions promptly to management.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of operating materials for production machines and obtain additional materials according to procedures.
  • Document production activities each day as assigned.
  • Package and transport produced parts as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
